Open meeting 5th December

The Wharf community invites you to join our conversation as we seek to ensure the future of this wonderful pub. Following recent positive discussions, we are now rolling this out to a wider audience.

For those who are interested in the possibility of turning the Wharf into a community-owned pub, we are holding a meeting on Tuesday 5th December, here at The Wharf itself and we hope you’ll join us.

Should you wish to get involved but can not attend, feel free to email us at help@savethewharf.uk or message our Facebook page with your questions/thoughts.

  1. Hi,
I assume you’ve looked at the possibility of an applying for a ACV for the pub.
The issues are the close proximity of the Silk Trader and the Puss in Boots not to mention the town as a whole.
But this is a proper community pub in so many ways.
Also contact with the Plunket foundation is advisable.
If we can help in any way via CAMRA and personally we will.
I will be at the meeting for sure.
